Welcome to Jeanie Schlump Artworks

Jeanie works in most two dimensional media as well as sculpture. She has resided in Wyoming for 50 years and has always lived out West. Jeanie Schlump focuses on familiar Western landscapes & iconography. In 2005, she won Best of Show at the CFD Old West Museum's National Western Spirit Show for her origianl pastel, "Where Grange Meets Range". Maggie Price, co-founder & past editor of Pastel Journal Magazine, awarded Jeanie Schlump the 2004 Best Landscape award at the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies Show. Jeanie has work in the collection of the Wyoming State Museum and has been accepted into the Wyoming Governor's Capitol Art Exhibition where she was given a purchase award in 2003.

The Wyoming State Historical Society awarded Jeanie first place for her ornate stone masonry restoration project on the First Methodist Church in Cheyenne, WY. Jeanie Schlump currently teaches classes at the Albany County branch of the Laramie County Community College & maintains a self-supporting studio in Laramie, Wyoming.
 
In December of 2006, a large mural depicting Laramie,Wyoming painted by Jeanie Schlump was donated to the City of Laramie by the family of Dick & Dorothy Foster. This mural will be on permanent display at the Laramie City Hall. The mural measures 5.5 feet high by 14 feet wide and was originally painted to display what activities and sites the Laramie area had to offer.
